The Tygerberg Nature Reserve is a very central and easily accessible destination for the people staying in the Northern suburbs of Cape Town. The rates are very affordable, which includes picnicking and/or hiking. There are two peaceful picnic spots with benches which is in shady areas under tall Pine trees. The summit picnic spot can be rather windy at times and specially icy on winters days.
